Decatur Mom reader, Jennifer, wrote in to let us know about a special holiday tradition at Children’s Healthcare:
Through gingerbread houses, star-carrying angels and smiling snowmen, 12 children from metro Atlanta are sharing their creativity for a good cause: the 2009 Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Holiday Card Program. Each of the children’s artwork comprises one of 12 Christmas, Hanukah or winter-themed greetings cards that will raise money for the Aflac Cancer Center and Blood Disorders Service of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Since the cards debuted more than 20 years ago, personal and corporate purchases have raised more than $2 million. Please click here for more details about the Program!
Thanks Jennifer! The cards are all so adorable that it is hard to choose. Best of luck with this important fundraiser.
