Shopping for a Child? Buy a Robe

My children love their new robes. Who knew? While I was out shopping for the Season of Giving Campaign in Decatur, I came across some cute bathrobes for children. PJs was one of the items on the Giving list for the child that I am sponsoring but the robes caught my eye because my children love to spend as much time as possible in their pajamas on the weekends, and I thought it would be great for them to have an extra cover up for the winter. However, I was afraid that they might treat the robes like any other warm layering piece such as a jacket, socks or a hat and either avoid it to the extent possible or shed it at the first possible opportunity.

Even though my kids prefer to run around with as few layers as possible, I decided to give the robes a try. After all, they are accustom to seeing me change into comfy clothes and my fluffy fleece robe towards the end of the day. I know that it’s not the sexiest little thing but I get cold easily, and we really need new windows, so there is a draft…but back to the point. The robes are a huge hit! In fact they won’t take them off. Which presents a different problem… But I love my new robe buddies :-)

Also, as an FYI, I did complete my shopping for the Season of Giving campaign and I’m excited to turn in my donations tomorrow!
