Hooray for the Little Shop of Stories for helping to bring a Christmas tree back to downtown Decatur! The Christmas tree, which is also sponsored by a number of other downtown businesses, will actually sit on top of the building that houses the Little Shop of Stories. Let’s hope that this becomes a Decatur holiday tradition!
Don’t miss the Christmas tree lighting on Thursday, December 3rd at 7 pm.
The Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place in the parking lot in front of Little Shop of Stories. The parking lot will be blocked off during the event so be sure to allow time to park in another location.
According to the Little Shop newsletter, the Glenwood Academy Choir will be leading the crowd in song and there will be goodies and hot chocolate.
I’m so excited to take my family to this community event and to kick-off the holiday season with my Decatur neighbors. See you there!
