August 9th, 3pm Back to School Storytime – storytellers will read their favorite back-to-school books in preparation of the first day of school.
August 6, 13, 20, and 27 11am Preschool Storytimes! Special storytimes for pre-schoolers and caregivers featuring books about colors, numbers, ABC’s and being BIG!

August 22nd from 10am-1pm Healthy Back to School Fair – Get Healthy for Back to School with Cooking for Monkeys! Hoopla will be hosting a Back to School Fair with an emphasis on healthy eating and exercise.
Event Details:
- Curious George will be present along with face painting and balloon animals.
- The famous Leslie Grant from Chickin Feed (Rachel Ray, Atlanta Magazine) will be there to encourage children to “Make Good Choices” with her Nutrition Tracking Boards and fun activities that promote exercise.
- Jacks Harvest products will be available to sample.
- Cooking for Monkeys will be making Happy Day Smoothies and will have tips for bento packing and perhaps a demo or two!
- After the chaos the kids can relax and focus with a sample kids yoga class at 12pm taught by Nicole Jurovics.

End of August, Learning Groove Music Classes with Mr. Eric! Weekly music classes for parents and children. Award winning performers, producers, and educators Mr. Michael and Mr. Eric (author of Pete the Cat) created The Learning Groove for children from birth to four years. The program empowers children to reach their full musical, academic and creative potential. Basically, they have a lot a fun and make a lot of noise. Fall Session 2009: ¡La fiesta! September 1 – November 12 (ten classes) Classes meet for forty-five minutes, once a week. The Fall Session will meet ten times, from September 1 through November 12, having one week off in the middle. No classes the week of October 5 – 9. The session costs $140 with a $10 registration fee for new families; the second sibling costs only $110.
