Decatur Restaurants Participate in Awareness Campaign for Clean Water

tap-logoThe Tap Project started two years ago in NYC. Restaurants asked customers to donate $1 when they ordered tap water and all of the money they collected went to support UNICEF’s work to end preventable deaths of children due to lack of clean water.

Now, the Tap Project is a national effort and it has reached Decatur! After reading more about this amazing effort, I learned that 4 Decatur restaurants are participating in the Tap Project during World Water Week. Visit these restaurants between March 22nd and March 28th to make a donation.
