The City of Decatur concerts on the square are one of my family’s favorite Decatur outings. The concerts run every Saturday evening in September and May from 7 – 9:30 pm and feature great live music from local bands, door prizes from local sponsors, and a perfect dinner picnic atmosphere with your Decatur neighbors.
The first fall concert is on September 6th featuring the Morgan Rowe Band. And if the turn out is anything like the spring concerts on the square, you can expect a lot of fun. Take a picnic or take advantage of one of the many awesome restaurants on the Decatur square. I know that it’s awfully close to bedtime for most tots but you won’t want to miss the opportunity to enjoy one of the last free outdoor concerts series of the year.
