The Little Shop of Stories recently moved to a new location at 133 East Court Square in Decatur, GA and last night we had a chance to visit for the first time since the move. We found the new location to be bright and comfortable with wide book isles for easy browsing, and the children’s house within the store that holds the toddler book collection is a very special place.
The Little Shop of Stories is a true City of Decatur gem with amazing books for children of all ages, book clubs, summer camps, and story hours. We frequently attend the pajama party story hours. Every Thursday at 7:00 p.m. kids get to come to the Little Shop of Stories story hour in their jammies, listen to great stories and enjoy some cookies and milk. When it’s over parents whisk their children home just in time for bed and watch them quickly fall asleep. Okay, so it doesn’t always work out that way. Nonetheless it’s a great weekday family outing at a time when a lot of working parents can attend. Congratulations to the Little Shop of Stories on a great move!
